Ronan Byrne

Ronan is a CEO and commercial leader with more than two decades of experience building several companies and selling them to large multinationals. His early career included Beverly Records Management, which was sold to Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM) and Engage Technologies, sold to Northgate Plc (FTSE 250).

Over the past ten years, his focus has been on the commercialization of innovations in life sciences. He was CEO and co-founder of ClearSight Innovations, ophthalmic diagnostic technologies, which successfully exited to an industry leader. Ronan was also involved in the early development of Genomics Medicine Ireland and is currently leading an emerging spin-out company, Pharma Latch, which is focused on intradermal delivery for drugs, vaccines and a range of immunotherapies. He acts as an evaluator, panelist and mentor for organizations such as Enterprise Ireland. He has also mentored a wide range of life sciences companies spanning digital health, devices, genomics, pharma and drug delivery.

Ronan holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from University College Dublin, as well as a Master of Business Administration from University College, Dublin, Michael Smurfit Business School.
