Charles White, Ph.D.

Before joining the team, Charles, who is based in the San Francisco Bay area, worked as a life sciences consultant at Putnam Associates, where he advised biotech and pharmaceutical companies on strategic decisions across diverse areas, such as market research, demand forecasting, and mergers and acquisitions strategy. While pursuing his PhD degree, Charles also worked with Biotech Connection Bay Area, where he coordinated networking and professional development events for graduate students and postdocs in the Bay area.

Charles earned his PhD from the University of California, San Francisco where he studied the biochemical mechanisms underlying age-related regenerative decline in the mammalian brain in the lab of Dr. Saul Villeda. He completed a dual Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Biochemistry at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.
