Ronan Byrne

Ronan is an experienced CEO and commercial leader over the last two decades. He has built several companies and sold them to large multinationals. His early career included Beverly Records Management, which was sold to Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM) and Engage Technologies, sold to Northgate Plc (FTSE 250).

Over the last decade, his focus has been on the commercialization of innovations in life sciences. He was CEO and co-Founder of ClearSight Innovations, ophthalmic diagnostic technologies, which successfully exited to an industry leader. He was also involved in the early development of Genomics Medicine Ireland and is currently leading an emerging spin-out company, Pharma Latch, which is focused on intradermal delivery for drugs, vaccines and a range of immunotherapies. Ronan acts as an evaluator, panelist and mentor for organizations such as Enterprise Ireland. He has mentored a wide range of life sciences companies spanning digital health, devices, genomics, pharma and drug delivery.

Ronan holds a B.A. in Economics and Politics from University College Dublin, as well as an M.B.A. from University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Business School.
